Using AI Begets Using Even More AI

March 16, 2026

AI use has a built-in viral loop. Using AI for some tasks makes you want to use even more AI for other tasks. I have ever experienced a technology like this before where. Even using it a little bit instantly makes you want to use it more, for everything. It’s like a drug.

I use AI to write my code.
The quality is inconsistent, so now I also use sub-agents to review and test it before I look at it.

My whole team uses AI to write code and ship faster.
Now we write so much code, so fast, that we are bottlenecked at review and have to use AI to help test and review it to take pressure off our lead developers.

AI gave me a great idea for a blog post and even did some initial research for me.
How can I automate this to give me a new idea every week?

I use AI to generate new design ideas and create variations on them.
Now I need AI to generate the code for them and integrate them into my codebase.

Using AI worked well to automate that tedious manual task.
How can I automate all my other tasks with AI?

… and on it goes.

Once you get a taste of how magical AI feels completing tasks and eliminating work for you, you’ll never go back. You just want to apply AI to more and more things until it breaks. No other technology product I have ever used feels quite like this. It’s intoxicating.
